This weekend marks the end of both W3il Season 3 and NWC3L Season 15 and Washed Up has never been so in shape! We performed better in these seasons than ever before and placed very respectably in both leagues. Here is where we currently stand post season.

W3iL: (5 weeks standard play + 2 decider matches)

Note: Division 3 Decider is not a true bracket, it is set up to determine final standings between divisions 3A and 3B.

NWC3L: (9 weeks standard play)

W3iL's system is particularly befuddling but real takeaway is we won 6 out of our 7 matches and exceeded expectations. Our fate is now completely out of our control and it is yet to be seen if we will have a shot to move into division 2. If team France in division 2 wins their relegation match and promotes into division 1, then their academy team France Espoir will promote up into division 2 and we will stay in division 3. If team France fails to move up then by the rules of w3il France Espoir cannot play in a division at or above the level of their parent team and will be unable to move up into division 2. This will leave us with a match vs VVV for the chance to move up next season. (confusing right?!)

As for NWC3L we missed the playoffs by a single slot but it is far and away our best performance in the league. Both groups were evenly stacked and many strong teams participated this season. We should be proud of ourselves to place as the highest team from the Americas. (and above uMad :P)

I will keep you all updated on the post season situation for W3il and starting next week we will be ramping up the team practice to bi-weekly sessions during the offseason.

Washed Up welcomes

FChampRyan to the team! RaRa as he was known on Bnet has a strong warcraft 3 background and even stronger fighting game skills. This previous EVO winner has both prestige and experience behind him and we are looking forward to his performance with us next season.

Washed up is also looking for strong

04/07/2020: Results

It was a LONG couple of nights through these qualification matches. Starting out with round 1 at 3:00am pacific and wrought with netease and UU disconnections we struggled against fatigue and frustration in every single round. In multiple matches we experienced lag spikes up to 4000ms as well as our players, the opponents or the admin disconnecting from the game.

Some nice highlights include hmk4 waking up in the nick of time to save us from forfeiting due to lack of players, Koboi falling asleep not once but twice in discord, and the guys 'almost' taking out Infi and TH000 in a 2v2 match. (Link @ 1m50s here) Sadly we were not able to record most of the games as no observers or managers were allowed, only the players and our dedicated referee (Shoutout to Ob010 for administrating all the matches and giving us fair treatment even through all our disconnects.)
